<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display driving device capable of reading of an image data at high speed and moving a display area finely. <P>SOLUTION: When a leading address correction circuit 21 determines that the leading address of the image data of a display area involved in a data transfer request does not accord with the leading address of an SDRAM burst length, the leading address correction circuit 21 corrects the leading address of the image data to the leading address of the SDRAM burst length including the leading pixel position designated by the data transfer request and outputs the corrected leading address of the image data to an address producing circuit 11. When the leading pixel involved in the data transfer request is a data address 3, the leading address correction circuit 21 corrects the leading address to a data address 0. Thereby, the image data of data addresses 0 to 7 of an SDRAM 4 are read. A line buffer writing circuit 22 eliminates image data of the unnecessary addresses 0 to 2 from the read image data and performs the writing into a line buffer 12.
