A bow-shaped grab-handle 3, Figs. 1 and 2, is provided on a vehicle door between an arm rest 2 and the interior door handle 4, to prevent a passenger from involuntarily grasping the handle and opening the door, e.g. when the vehicle is braked. If the interior handle is provided above the window winder 5, as shown at 4<SP>1</SP>, the handle 3 is combined, at its upper end, with the pivot bearing of the interior handle, as shown in dotted lines in Fig. 1. The grab-handle may be rigid, and made of metal, wood or synthetic material and may be upholstered, or it may be made of leather, rope or the like.</p> |
