The invention relates to a method for keeping vacuum piping, particularly the vacuum piping (2, 3, 4) of the waste systems of ships and similar, clean, or for assisting it. The device according to the invention is used to feed acid and bacteria are fed to the end of each vacuum pipe run (3).
