[PROBLEMS] A technique used for a hand-held working tool reduces vibration of a handle of the working tool. [MEANS FOR SILVING PROBLEMS] A working tool performs predetermined processing on a workpiece by a rectilinear motion in the longitudinal direction of a tip tool (119). The working tool has a working tool body (103), a handle (109), and a vibration-damping section (159). The vibration-damping section (159) has an elastic body (152) provided between the working tool body (103) and the handle (109) and reducing transmission of vibration from the working tool body (103) to the handle (109),and also has a body-side receiving section (153) and a handle-side receiving section (157) arranged to face each other so as to hold the elastic body (152). A Z-axis extending in the longitudinal axis direction of the tip tool (119) and an X- and Y-axes that intersect the Z-axis are adapted so that deformation of the elastic member (152) is shear deformation occurring in each of the Z-, X-, and Y-axis directions. |
