QUALITY DETERMINATION VALUE CALCULATION CIRCUIT, SWITCHING DETERMINING METHOD AND CIRCUIT, AND RADIO COMMUNICATION APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide radio communication equipment capable of selecting an optimum transmission method even if a propagation state rapidly changes, and an adaptive modulation system.

SOLUTION: A quality determination value is calculated by the sum obtained by adding a value obtained by multiplying bit error information by a correction coefficient and a value obtained by multiplying the preceding quality determination value by an attenuation coefficient. A difference between the current quality determination value and the preceding quality determination value is calculated. The correction coefficient is determined by information showing the current modulation system and the difference. The attenuation coefficient is determined by the difference.
