<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply, easily and efficiently clean a water pipe by smoothly moving a pipe cleaning pig to a water pipe and a branch pipe. <P>SOLUTION: A water pipe cleaning method comprises the steps of introducing the pipe cleaning pig 3 from the branch pipe 2 on the feeding side connected to the water pipe 1, feeding pressurized fluid into the branch pipe 2 to move the pipe cleaning pig 3 from the branch pipe 2 into the water pipe 1, forcing the cleaning pig 3 to move further by the pressurized fluid to scrub and clean the inner surface of the water pipe 1, moving the cleaning pig 3 from the water pipe 1 to the branch pipe 2 on the removal side after scrubbing and cleaning the water pipe 1, and removing the cleaning pig 3 to the outside. A flexible wire 51 having a rotary power source 52 connected to the rear end and a rotary cleaning tool 50 connected to the leading end is inserted into the water pipe 1 through the branch pipe 2 to introduce the rotary cleaning tool 50 on the leading end into the water pipe 1, and the rotary cleaning tool 50 is turned by the rotary drive source 52 via the flexible wire 51 to remove foreign matter on the inner surface of the water pipe 1, and then the water pipe cleaning pig 3 is introduced from the branch pipe 2 into the water pipe 1 to scrub and clean the water pipe 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
