摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve structure of a shock absorber capable of improving the ride comfort of a vehicle even if piston speed reaches a high-speed region. SOLUTION: The shock absorber is provided with: a flow passage 7 at one side for making one chamber 41 communicate with individual ports 2a, 2b; a flow passage 8 at the other side for making the other chamber 42 communicate with the individual ports 2a, 2b; a throttle valve 11 at one side having a valve element 12 disposed in the middle of the flow passage 7 at one side and capable of reducing a flow passage area; a throttle valve 13 at the other side having a valve element 14 disposed in the middle of the flow passage 8 at the other side and capable of reducing a flow passage area; a communication passage 15 for making one chamber 41 communicate with the other chamber 42; and a pair of orifices 16a, 17a disposed in series in the middle of the communication passage 15 where pressure between the individual orifices 16a, 17a in the middle of the communication passage 15 is exerted on the valve element 12 in such a direction as to reduce the flow passage area and pressure between the individual orifices 16a, 17a in the middle of the communication passage is exerted on the valve element 13 in such a direction as to reduce the flow passage area.
