PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inclined reversing type transfer method increasing timber transfer speed to increase a handling capacity by accurately taking out timber one by one and accurately positioning and feeding the timber delivered to a takeout conveyor to eliminate the generation of unevenness when pressing a finger joint. SOLUTION: Slopes 51 inclining up toward the takeout conveyor 13 is provided between the side of a feed-in conveyor 12 and the takeout conveyor 13. The timber A pushed out toward the takeout conveyor 13 from the feed-in conveyor 12 is inclined on the slopes 51 so that the upper end is located in the rear with respect to a push-out direction, and the upper end of the inclined timber A is delivered by a rotating brush 37.
