PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressive expansion turbine unit capable of improving efficiency, by providing required refrigerating capacity in low speed rotation, even when used for a container refrigerating unit of applying an air cycle refrigerating cooling system. SOLUTION: This compressive expansion turbine unit 5 has a compressor 6 and an expansion turbine 7. A main shaft 13 of an impeller 6a of the compressor 6 and a main shaft 14 of an impeller 7a of the expansion turbine 7 are arranged in parallel. These respective main shafts 13 and 14 are respectively supported by radial bearings 15-18. A transmission mechanism 22 for transmission rotation and a motor 26 for driving the impellers 6a and 7a of the compressor 6 and the expansion turbine 7 via this transmission mechanism, are arranged between both main shafts 13 and 14. The respective main shafts 13 and 14 are provided with magnetic bearings 27 and 28 for compensating for axial force by back pressure of the impellers 6a and 7a. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
