PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new approach to the early detection of colorectal cancer (CRC). SOLUTION: The method for screening the drug comprises the step of acquiring the quantified level data of the cDNA on a predetermined polynucleotide and by using at least one multivariate statistical analysis, comparing the level of cDNA originating from a tissue of a patient with a cDNA originating from a control tissue sample, a program including a command to provide the result of the analysis or a machine-readable medium in which the program is stored, and selecting at least one of biological model systems for such as cancers, for example CRC, lung, prostate, and breast, and neurodegenerative diseases, for example Alzheimer's and ALS, and selecting at least one drug for screening the system, selecting at least two biomarkers, and the step of administering at least one drug to the prescribed system and the step of monitoring the response of the biomarkers.
