<p>Provided is a tire capable of suppressing the crack which may occur from a portion of an endless decorative band formed on a portion of a side wall, improving the visibility of an emblem formed on the decorative band, and reducing the number of working steps of a mold for vulcanizing the tire. The tire (10) has an endless decorative band (2) formed on a side wall (1). The endless decorative band (2) is constituted of at least one first display area (3) and at least one second display area (4) arranged alternately in the circumferential direction. The first display area (3) is constituted of a background portion (5) continuing in an identical smoothness to the portion of the adjoining side wall (1), and a foreground portion (6) formed in the background portion (5) with the same maximum width in the tire radial direction as that of the background portion (5), for forming the emblem by arraying ridges (9). A background portion (7) for constituting the second display area (4) wholly or partially is formed by arraying the ridges (9) arrayed in the background portion (5) of the first display area (3) and the ridges (9) having an equal bottom height in the tire thickness direction, and those ridges (9) have a tire thickness height of 0.1 to 1.0 mm.</p> |
