PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage on a pickup base when a shock is applied to a device even if an optical pickup base is made of resin. SOLUTION: The device is provided with: a pair of guide shafts 31 and 32 which support guided sections 26 and 28 prepared at one side and the other side of a direction nearly orthogonal to a radial direction of a pickup base 20 so that an optical pickup 5 is movable in a radial direction; a unit base 3 to which a pair of guide shafts 31 and 32 are attached; a stopper section 71 which is prepared in the unit base 3 and brought in contact with the guided section 26 of one side when the optical pickup 5 is moved to an outermost position of the radial direction; a rise section 43 prepared to face an external side of the guided section 28 of the other side of the unit base 3; and a displacement regulation section 73 prepared in either the guided section 28 of the other side or the rise section 43.
