A method of automatic control of the single-stage cycle of wet crushing of magnetite ores includes stabilization of required (planned) consumption of initial ore with required (planned) content of magnetic iron by change of supply of the ore in mill, stabilization of required ore-water ratio into the mill by change of the water supply into the mill and stabilization of the required (planned) density of waste of classifier by supply of additional water into the classifier. Current content of magnetic iron in initial ore is additionally measured, compared with given value and given value of ore supply into the mill is adjusted depending on the deviation value of current content of magnetic iron in initial ore from required value. In the case of deviation of current value from the required value toward increase the required value of ore consumption is reduced, while in the case of its deviation toward decrease the required value is increased.
