A storage system for use on a vehicle comprises a storage receptacle having an adjustable storage volume, a storage volume opening for insertion and removal of stored objects and a front face 18 connectable to a vehicle surface 4 by means of first and second side elements 24. The storage receptacle further comprises a bottom element 26 which permits the front face 18 to be displaceable from the vehicle surface 4, in use, to define a floor for the storage volume. Biasing means 28,30 bias the receptacle into a closed position and includes a bracket 46 which attaches the storage system to the vehicle surface 4. |
