TECHNIQUE FOR LAPAROSCOPIC SUTURING OF HOLLOW ORGANS

A technique for the laparoscopic suturing of the hollow organs comprises the uninterrupted suturing of the walls of the organ in the sequence: mucosa – serosa on one side and serosa – mucosa on other side of tightening the suture after each suturing. The atraumatic suture is inserted into the peritoneal cavity with the loop with unknotted suture at its end. After the first suturing of the tissues, the needle is passed through the loop and the thread is tightened until the loop approaches the tissues to be sutured. Then the end of the atraumatic suture filament is caught by the forceps at the distance of 1.5-2 cm from the loop, while the second forceps catches the end of the filament on the opposite end. The filament is stretched oppositely by two forceps in perpendicular to the length of the wound for generating the first knot.
