METHOD FOR CONTROLLING NUMBER OF POPULATION OF CODLING MOTHS (LEPIDOPTERA, TORTRICIDAE)

A method for controlling the number of populations of codling moths (Lepidoptera, Tortricidae) includes the use of biological preparations for spraying trees in the vegetation period. A water suspension of a mixture of the nematode Steinernema carpocapsae Weiser is applied onto the soil surface, vegetable residues and also onto tree trunks in an equivalent of 0.5-0.6 mln of invasion larvae and an aqueous suspension of the entomopathogenous fungal preparation Pecylomin. Treatment of near-trunk circles and tree trunks is carried out in the period of beginning of the migration of caterpillars of codling moths for pupation and the diapause.
