A method for transporting and cleaning tuberous roots includes delivery of a heap of tuberous roots to the area of cleaning, interacting thereof with active and passive elements of cleaning working elements, shaking using vibratory movements and the further unloading into a carrier vehicle. The heap, after shaking thereof, is additionally passed through a vibratory roller and board wiper of the side surfaces of tuberous root bodies against roots and stuck soil. A device for transporting and cleaning tuberous roots consists of a feed conveyer, a shaker of vibratory action the lower part of which comprises pairs of counter-rotating drive brushes, a finger blanket cleaner and an unloading conveyer. From below of the outlet window of the shaker a drive board and roller wiper of tuberous root bodies of arched shape is mounted. A brush unit is disposed movably therein and connected to a mechanism of oscillatory movements towards the roller part of the wiper. |
