A plain bearing (1) for axial and/or radial mounting of one bearing component (2) in another (4) comprises recesses (9) with a slide/guide element (13) and a hardened equalization compound (11) in one of the bearing components. The equalization compound has been introduced into these recesses in a flowable state. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing the proposed plain bearing.
