<p>A mobile terminal and an operation control method thereof are provided to easily distinguish scroll speed and a location of the current scroll by a tactic feeling. A message input window is displayed(S200). A controller determines whether a specific character is inputted by touch input through message input window(S205). When the character is input through the message input window, the controller performs a control operation(S215). A vibration signal is outputted. The vibration signal is differently preset correspondingly to the input character.
