A potentiometer having an elastic coupling is provided to maintain a rotation axis of a potentiometer to a slave gear at exact location by forming an elastic key piece and an elastic support piece. A potentiometer(100) has an elastic coupling(300). The elastic coupling comprises an elastic key piece and an elastic support piece. The elastic key piece(320) adheres closely to the rotation axis(120) of a key groove(140). The elastic support piece(340) adheres closely to a protrusion(240) formed in a cross section of an axis connection hole(220). The shaft connection hole is mounted on a slave gear(200).
