PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save the power consumed in the display device which is simultaneously forming lighting pixels and display pixels. SOLUTION: The display device has lighting pixels and display pixels on a first surface of a first panel, and these lighting pixels and display pixels are built by using spontaneous light emitting elements. When building the display device in a structure considering the environments, it is desirable to arrange the light emitting elements with the same spacing in the first and second areas, and to form a third area not emitting light between the first and second areas with a spacing larger than the spacing of the elements in the first and second areas.
