<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems of a conventional string for a racket wherein the string having characteristics such as excellent ball hitting properties, durability and extension properties can not be obtained because the cross section of the string is circular, and wherein vertical strings and horizontal strings are easily displaced when an object (such as a tennis ball) is hit and excellent characteristics can not be obtained because the contact face of a vertical string and a horizontal string of the string is point contact. <P>SOLUTION: The string whose cross section is a rectangle or deformed rectangle is provided for the racket so that the contact face between the vertical string and the horizontal string of the string can be face contact. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
