PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To immobilize a bioactive material on the surface of a biosensor chip without influence of electric charge repulsion. SOLUTION: The biosensor chip includes a substrate, a polymer having a carboxyl group arranged on the surface of the substrate, a polyamino group which is directly or indirectly bound to the carboxyl group at the surface of the polymer, and a long-chain alkyl group which is directly or indirectly bound to the carboxyl group.
