<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device management system, a device management method, and a device management program which eliminate the need for management using IC chips and achieve management peripheral devices even in a state that a network is not used. <P>SOLUTION: The device management equipment which manages devices using serial numbers read from USB memories 2A, 2B and USB mouse 2C connected to a computer mainframe 11 is provided with a memory section 11B that memorizes the serial numbers of USB memories 2A, 2B and USB mouse 2C as identification information and a processing section 11A which reads serial numbers of USB memories 2A, 2B and USB mouse 2C connected to the computer mainframe 11, compares the serial numbers read and the serial numbers memorized in the memory section 11B, and manages the presence of peripheral devices memorized in the memory section 11B that are not connected to the computer mainframe 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
