PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video camera equipped with a novel mechanism for allowing a monitor screen to be rotatable with respect to the main body of the video camera. SOLUTION: The video camera 100 includes: a main body 1; a lens 11 disposed in the front face part of the main body; and a monitor screen 21, and is equipped with a display portion 2 that is provided at the rear face part of the main body to be slidable in an arc shape in the vertical direction of the main body. In the rear face part (main body linking portion 3) of the main body to which the display portion is attached, a first surface facing the display portion is concave to the front face part side.
