<p>Control mechanism for the waste-pipe plug on a wash-basin, sink or bath has a Bowden operating cable to lift the plug from the closed to the open position. A push-rod is connected to the cable and is able to slide axially into a housing linked to the plug casing. This push-rod has on its free end a sloping surface by means of which it can raise the shaft of the plug. When this happens, the rod is displaced from its housing and slides inside the plug casing.</p> |
