PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sample drier that does not contaminate a sample and dries it in a short time. SOLUTION: This sample drier 100 comprises a box-like drying chamber 1 that stores samples S or support bodies 8 and 9 holding the samples S inside it and is sealed by closing an openable/closable door 11, a vacuum pump 2 for vacuuming the inside of the drying chamber 1, a mounting section 31 that is disposed in the drying chamber 1 and is mounted with the samples S or support bodies 8 and 9 holding the samples S, a heater 4 directly connected the lower surface 32 of the mounting section 31, and a controlling means 5 for controlling the vacuum pump 2 and the heater 4.
