PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical type sensor which can diminish the deterioration of measurement accuracy caused by a bending loss in a transmission line of light. SOLUTION: The optical type sensor has a light source, one optical fiber for projecting light which transmits the light from the light source to a measuring object, two optical fibers for receiving light which transmit respectively the light reflected from a reflecting surface of the measuring object to two light-receiving parts, and an arithmetic processing part which calculates a physical quantity on the basis of the ratio between electrical signals from the two light-receiving parts and has a taped part covering collectively the two optical fibers for receiving light.
