<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engineering tool having a connection monitoring function, which can efficiently detect disconnection of a cable and reconnection to the other control device without frequently performing monitoring processing of the connecting state with a control device, and a connection monitoring method and a program therefor. <P>SOLUTION: The engineering tool comprises an application part 110 including a connection monitoring part 111 performing monitoring of the connecting state with a control device 200, a system part 112 performing arithmetic operation or the like, a communication part 113 performing exchange of data with the control device 200, an input and output part 114 controlling an interface with a user such as input and output device control and a data holding part 115 holding parameters or model information of the control device 200 or the like; and a database part 120 including a parameter group 121 registering parameters of the control device 200 and a connecting condition table group 122 registering connecting conditions with the control device 200. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
