PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a running water pool safely usable without a risk of a swimmer being sucked by slowing down the flow of water at a water suction port of the running water pool. SOLUTION: The running water pool comprises a water storage tank 3 provided in communication with the running water pool 1 causing the unidirectional flow of water; a water pipe 2 connecting the water suction port of the running water pool to a water supply port 12 of the water storage tank so that the running water pool and the water storage tank have the same water level; and a water supply pipe 4 connecting the water storage tank to the running water pool and jetting water in the water storage tank from an ejection port 5 provided in the running water pool using a water supply means 6 such as a pump to cause water flow. The water pipe is provided with a water supply port in a water surface position of the water storage tank at the same height as the standard set water level of the running water pool to supply water overflowing from the running water pool to the water storage tank to thereby slow down the flow of water at the water suction port of the running water pool.
