<p>A system for controlling the capacity of a variable-capacity compressor comprises target intake pressure setting means for setting a target intake pressure, a capacity control valve having a solenoid and adapted for regulating the controlled pressure, intake pressure estimating means for calculating an estimated intake pressure which is an estimate of the intake pressure of when the discharge capacity of the variable-capacity compressor is assumed as a maximum value according to external information sensed by external information sensing means, and control current adjusting means for adjusting the control current supplied to the solenoid of the capacity control valve or a parameter relating to the control current according to the preset target intake pressure and the calculated estimated intake pressure.</p> |
