<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that the conventional catalyst for purifying air can not exhibit catalytic performance until the temperature of the conventional catalyst for purifying air becomes about ≥200°C and since a platinum group metal to be used in the conventional catalyst for purifying air belongs to one of rare resources, the development of a new catalyst instead of the conventional catalyst using the platinum group metal is requested even for the sake of protecting the rare resources. <P>SOLUTION: The catalyst 3 for purifying air contains at least cobalt, manganese and silver as metal elements. As a result, the catalyst 3 for purifying air can exhibit catalytic activity even at ≤200°C catalyst temperature since the catalyst 3 for purifying air is composed of three or more metal elements containing cobalt, manganese and silver at the least. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
