PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more accurately measure coagulation activity of a coagulating liquid to be inspected by a smaller amount. SOLUTION: This storage detection sensor 20 has a supply port 23 and a diaphragm 26. When blood 40 is supplied from the supply port 23 in order to store the blood 40 in a storage section 21 for storing the blood 40 to be inspected, the air in this storage section 21 is discharged from a discharge port 25 disposed in the storage section 21 and the blood 40 is introduced into the storage section 21. Ultrasonic vibration is applied to the blood 40 by a piezoelectric element 30 arranged on the diaphragm 26, and the variation of the vibration state of the blood 40 is detected, thereby obtaining information such as coagulation rate of the blood 40. The air is thus apt to go out from the storage section 21, so that remaining of air bubble in the blood 40 stored in the storage section 21 can be suppressed. The air in the storage section 21 can be discharged from the discharge port 25, so that even less amount of blood 40 can be introduced into the storage section 21. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
