PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screening method of a signal transmission regulating agent capable of regulating the activation of a signal transmission route through erbB1. SOLUTION: In the screening method of the signal transmission regulating agent, erbB1 or its partial peptide and FRS2βor its partial peptide are brought into contact with each other in the presence of a candidate substance to detect to the acceleration or suppression of the interaction of both of them by the candidate substance, and to select the candidate substance accelerating the interaction as a regulating agent for accelerating signal transmission, so that the candidate substance suppressing the interaction is selected as a regulating agent for suppressing the signal transmission. The partial peptide of erbB1 is peptide containing a tyrosine kinase domain and the partial peptide of FRS2βis peptide containing a PTB domain. A substance for regulating the activation of the signal transmission through erbB can be screened by this method.
