PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle engine room interior arrangement structure capable of being arranged compactly and effectively dissipating heats in an engine room. SOLUTION: In this power train arrangement structure of a vehicle 1, a compartment 2 and an engine room 4 are partitioned by a dash panel 6, and a powertrain for driving wheels is installed in the engine room 4. A recessed portion 8 recessed toward the compartment 2 is formed on the dash panel 6. This structure has a power train comprising a traverse-mounted engine 10 installed in the recessed portion 8 and a transmission 12 connected to a rear part of the engine; a heat exchanger 48 arranged in front of the engine 10, and a catalyst 46 extending from the engine 10 and arranged above the heat exchanger 48.
