PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recorder which can arbitrarily change a glossiness of an image and can check whether or not a desired glossiness can be obtained before practical recording. SOLUTION: The inkjet recorder is equipped with both a recording head 7 which makes an ink ejected to a recording medium 2, and a control part 20 which can change the glossiness of the image recorded by the recording head 2. The control part 20 changes the glossiness of the image so as to make a test pattern image 17 include a plurality of patches 18 different in image glossiness when the test pattern image 17 composed of a plurality of patches is formed by the recording head 7 before practical recording of recording the image.
