<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lid structure for an image forming apparatus which does not need a space occupancy so much in a layout while no attachment part of a blindfold board gets in the way. <P>SOLUTION: An upper lid 40 is disposed on the front part of the upper face of the main body 2 of a printer. The upper lid 40 is freely opened/closed, and the leading end of the upper lid 40 extends in front of the main body 2 of the printer and the rotation shaft of the upper lid 40 is located on the rear end side rather than the leading end side. A paper feed tray lid 6 is disposed on the front face of the main body 2 of the printer. The leading end of the paper feed tray lid 6 extends on the upper side of the main body 2 of the printer and its rotation shaft is located lower than this leading end. The concealing plate 52 for covering the inside of the main body 2 of the printer is formed in the main body 2 and opposite the back face of at least the leading end of the paper feed tray lid 6. The concealing plate 52 is attached to the inside face of the upper lid 40 so as to cover the inside of the main body 2 of the printer when the upper lid 40 is closed and rotate together with the upper lid 40 when the upper lid 40 is opened. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
