PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program restart block data acquisition method without damaging a workpiece. SOLUTION: This program restart block data acquisition method includes: determining non-cutting commands are registered (step S1); determining whether or not all the registered non-cutting commands are analyzed (step S2); reading the data of the registered non-cutting command (step S3); determining whether or not a block being analyzed includes a non-cutting command (step S4); determining whether or not the registered non-cutting command acquires data at a block start point (step S5); storing program restart block data at the block start point (step S6); or acquiring the program restart block data at a block end point, and storing the acquired data into a memory (step S7); and completing the processing.
