PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structural member for rainwater storage and permeation system sufficiently having a resistance against shearing deformation, reduced in weight, easily maintainable and inspectable by securing a large space when assembled, and easily movable in both vertical and horizontal directions from an inspection hole and also provide a rainwater storage and permeation system using the structural member. SOLUTION: A vertical member 1 has a plurality of groove-like or projection-like joined parts A in the longitudinal direction of the outer surface. A lateral member 2 has a plurality of groove-like or protrudent joined parts B in the longitudinal direction of both side surfaces, and also has at least one opening 2h in a part of the plate thereof. When the joined parts A and the joined parts B are detachably fitted to each other to join the vertical members 1 to the lateral members 2, a space V parallel to the vertical members 1 is formed in a three-dimensional structure 10, and a through hole part H (Ha-Hd) vertical to the vertical members 1 is formed by one or two openings 2h adjacent to each other.
