PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building outer wall inspection device and a system capable of performing an inspection work of a building outer wall by remote operation, and performing an accurate inspection work by fixing an inspection device body surely to the outer surface. SOLUTION: This building outer wall inspection device 10 is equipped with the inspection device body 11 for acquiring inspection data by performing a defect detection operation to the building outer wall; a lateral member 12 suspended from a building upper part, disposable oppositely to the wall surface, for mounting thereon the inspection device body movably in the lateral direction; lifting parts 13, 14 for lifting the lateral member; and a fixing means capable of fixing the lateral member onto the wall surface when performing the detection operation.
