PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caster device with a locking function miniaturizing it by storing an operation member in an outer case and facilitating machining by simplifying a shape of a mounting hole in a bottom surface of furniture mounted with this. SOLUTION: The caster device 1 comprises an outer case 11 and an inner case 41. The outer case 11 has an upper wall 12 and a guide wall 16. Wheels 62, 66 provided with lock wheels 65, 69 and a lock means 70 for engaging the lock wheels 65, 69 are provided on the inner case 41. An operation means 91 for operating the lock means 70 is provided on the outer case 11. The operation means 91 comprises an operation piece 95 for directly operating the lock means 70; an operation lever 92 projected from a lower part of the outer case 11; and a connection piece 93 for connecting the operation piece 95 to the operation lever 92.
