PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a video reproducing machine and a transmission system for confirming a material standby even during video reproduction without the need of a video superimposition apparatus for standby confirmation, and to improve the easiness of standby status confirmation. SOLUTION: In the video reproducing machine of a broadcast transmission system, standby material video images during video reproduction are outputted, the material video images are superimposed during video processing, and the standby material video image is selected and specified. Also, an image representing the materials and a credit image displaying meta data of the materials included in a carry-in material are specified beforehand as a standby confirmation image during a filing preview, and a sponsor name, a material name, memo data exchanged with a business broadcasting system and the superimposition display item of a CM broadcasting frame ID are specified.
