PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering system capable of improving a laying-out property and a merchandising property without spoiling riding comfortability. SOLUTION: This steering system is furnished with axle housing 30 to support a hub H on which a wheel FL is mounted free to rotate, a lower arm 20 axially supported free to oscillate against a vehicle body by one end (supporting part 21) and to support the axle housing 30 free to revolve by a steering part 23 provided on the other end and a motor 50 set on the lower arm 20 and to revolve the axle housing 30 by its driving force, and a rotation axis of the motor 50 and a revolution axis (king pin axis) of the axle housing 30 are arranged by slipping them from each other.
