PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the processing rate of plotting three-dimensional graphic by reducing an arithmetic quantity required for chrominance conversion processing by a depth queue system. SOLUTION: In a three-dimensional graphic plotting device plotting a three- dimensional graphic by executing implicit-surface processing by a Z-buffer system and chrominance conversion processing by the depth queue system, depth queue coefficient for a number corresponding to the depth of a Z-buffer 5 is previously calculated by a depth queue coefficient calculating means 1 to be stored in a depth queue coefficient storing memory 3. At the time of chrominance conversion processing by the depth queue system to three- dimensional pixel data, a chrominance conversion processing part 2, through the use of the depth queue coefficient stored in the memory 3, executes the chrominance conversion processing of a plotting point to generate plotting data IX. An implicit-surface processing part 6 controls writing of plotting data IX to the frame buffer 4 while refer-updating the Z-buffer 5. |
