A door control device is provided to prevent the malfunction of door and to open the door far away from the vehicles. A door control device comprises an automatic control means(50) which opens and closes the door by electro-driving, an image photographing means(10) which makes a film of the side or the behind of the vehicles and watched, a first detection means(20) detecting the hand of man from the image taken, a third detection means detecting the face of the man corresponding to the hand detected from the image taken, a face data registration means memorizing face data of the man registered in advance, a face data matching means comparing the face data of the man registered in advance with the face data of the man detected.
