<p>The compacting device has feed rollers (2) for supplying fiber flocks (4), and discharge belt (14) which carries away the compacted flock mat. Two walls (10) are arranged opposite to each other between supply unit and discharge belt, and form boundaries which defines a transport direction of fiber flocks. One wall is movable in cycles, while other one is supported in such way that the movement executed during each cycle comprises a component in transport direction of fiber flocks and component transverse to transport direction of fiber flocks.</p> |
