PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information recording medium having a high capacity and a high density without using a laser having a short wavelength. SOLUTION: The optical information recording medium can record an information according to a laser beam. The medium comprises a compound represented by formula (1), wherein X is -CR1R2-, -NR3-, -O-, -S- or -Se-, R1, R2 and R3 are each independently a group selected from the group consisting of a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkenyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkynyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group, and a heterocyclic group, R is a substituent, n1 and n2 are each an integer of 0 to 4, but n1 and n2 does not simultaneously become 0, and when two R are incorporated, R may be same or different. |
