A method and a system for placing an advertisement by using a radio frequency identification tag are provided to place a target advertisement for maximizing effects of an advertisement of a consumer or a user by using a mobile RFID system. An RFID tag(120) can be adhered to a specific product or a specific location. An RFID reader(130) scans tag information stored in the RFID tag(S100). The RFID reader requests information of the RFID tag read by a contents server. The contents server stores contents information corresponding to the RFID tag and responds to an RFID tag information request from an RFID reader to transfer contents information corresponding to the RFID tag and user information to an advertisement server. An advertisement server can store information about advertisement. |
