A vehicle outer panel and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to achieve light weight of vehicle by using a steel sheet with stepped thickness as outer panel of the vehicle. A manufacturing method of a vehicle outer panel comprises the steps of: receiving information about a steel sheet(11) to be rolled from a host; setting up the target crown according to the received information; interposing superposed two steel sheets between an upper work roll(10a) and a lower work roll(10b) of a rolling mill; and differentiating the steel sheet thickness by rolling the steel sheets while adjusting the interval between the upper and lower work rolls and the tension pulling the steel sheet.
