[Also in Division H5] A floor, including undersurface grooves which are open to the sides of the floor for ventilation and contain electric heating elements, may comprise, as shown, a plaster layer 3 to which is secured by adhesive suitably grooved panels 4 of synthetic plastic, fibreboard, or parquet. Alternatively the grooves are formed in the plaster layer 3 and the covering panels have incisions on their under-side to prevent deformation. The grooves may be coated with aluminium foil or paint and the construction includes an insulating layer 2.
